where it all began

I graduated college at the Art Institute of Charlotte, NC in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Marketing and Management (hence why you’ll see a variety of style and home decor throughout my blogs). After graduating college, I landed a management position with Michael Kors that relocated me to Dallas, TX. After getting a dose of the heat in Texas, in the winter of 2010, I followed my dreams to San Diego, CA where I ended up meeting my husband, Drew. After working in retail management for years, I was really over working all the holidays and weekends so in 2013, I landed a position as an Executive Assistant. This opportunity quickly evolved into a hybrid position where I also managed all of our corporate sponsorships while assisting the President of Sales and Marketing. After having our first child, and relocating to two different states for Drew’s job, I decided it was time to move into a virtual position that would allow me to work from anywhere in the United States. In 2017, I began my career in a more virtual capacity and began helping companies of all sizes with their marketing strategies, designing pages for sales funnels, affiliate management and content creation. Following this path ultimately led to my position now as an Affiliate/joint venture manager. Becoming an affiliate manager for a company who empowers people to live a life they love living, has opened a whole realm of possibilities. I have the opportunity to speak with world class entrepreneurs everyday and lead an affiliate program for a multi-million dollar company. All of this has ultimately helped reignite my passion of doing what I love most: creating content and connecting people.
