Maternity Photo Session – Part 1

Happy Monday, friends! It sure has been a while! I have been one busy little bee over here with being a mom, wife, working part-time, traveling to NY for work, working on my Etsy shop, and family visiting! It has been a crazy, busy month to say the least, but I am SO glad it’s finally October and fall is here! In fact, it’s 40 degrees in Texas today and seriously feels like we just skipped fall all together ha!

Anyways I wanted to pop on and share some of my maternity photos by Christa Robey Photography! A lot of people asked why I got these done early and it was for 2 reasons: 1) I already have a HUGE baby bump (so much I seriously look like I am going to pop any day now, yet I still have half way to go) and 2) is actually because I was a model for Christa for this mini session. You see, Christa is an amazing Dallas based photographer and she is will be offering mentor workshops for aspiring photographers. You can read all about it on her blog here.  Having said that, a couple of weeks ago, I met Christa at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano along with Kati and was a model for her mentor session so wanted to share a few of the photos with all of you and also spread the word about Christa. She was so much fun to work with and I LOVE the photos so I plan on using her again for more maternity photos that include Drew & Brady!

If any of you are local and looking for a photographer, or perhaps looking to get a mentor session, I highly recommend checking her out! I am planning on taking a mentor session from her as well just so I can take better pictures of my family and for my blog! 🙂
