If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably saw our big news already this weekend, but if not, we’re expecting again! We’re due with baby # 2 in February and we cannot be more excited! And yes, for the record, there’s only 1 baby in there even though it looks like there for sure could be multiples! Ha! I popped out MUCH faster this time around, but that’s probably due to the fact that I never lost all the baby gut from the first time around! I’m so excited to document and share this journey with all of you through this blog! I will for sure be doing more posts on baby products, baby outfits, maternity and much more so stay tuned for those! Don’t worry though I am still going to post non-maternity stuff and other looks for all of you mamas who aren’t on the maternity train. 🙂
Being the impatient two individuals that Drew & I are, we decided to find out the gender early through a blood test. We had our family on FaceTime (except Drew’s mom as she was in town). The lab sent us the results via e-mail so we forwarded the email to our neighbor, blew up blue and pink balloons and asked our neighbor to stuff the box with whatever color balloons the email said the gender was! Watch the video below to see what we’re having!

Yes it’s a GIRL! We’re thrilled to say the least! Don’t get me wrong, I was already planning on a boy and would have been probably just as excited because I had already pictured Brady having a little brother to play trains & cars with, BUT words cannot express how excited I am to raise a little girl and not to mention shop for little girl stuff! I am so excited to experience both and we feel so very blessed! Prayers are appreciated for a healthy baby girl and a smooth pregnancy!
PS: Sorry I have been MIA last week. We’ve had so much going on the past few weeks with work, family visiting, just being downright too tired to do a blog post, AND also trying to ween off the bottle (yes my child is 2 and he is still taking a bottle don’t judge me… that’s another blog post in itself)..We went to the pediatrician last week and I finally ripped off the band-aid and decided we were going to go cold-turkey on it. We were on a great roll, but caved and have had 3 bottles total since last Tuesday so that isn’t too bad right? Any pointers are appreciated! And when I say pointers it’s really on how to get mom and dad through it because I don’t know who its harder on! You can leave them in the comments!
Thanks so much for reading!
